Fashion is more than just clothing; it’s an extension of identity, confidence, and personal expression. Few designers understand this better than Sarah Jones, the creative force behind the Sarah Jones Collection. With a background in fashion illustration and years of experience as a professor at the University of North Texas, Sarah has blended her technical expertise with a deep understanding of personal style to craft garments that are as versatile as they are stunning. Now, she’s bringing her custom collection to Arizona, offering a one-of-a-kind experience for fashion enthusiasts with an exclusive trunk show featuring limited edition fabrics, personalized fittings, and a Champagne & Shopping experience.
A Journey from Necessity to Passion
Sarah’s love for fashion was born out of necessity. As a teenager struggling to find pants that fit her unique proportions, she realized that the fashion industry often overlooked individuality. “I found a pair of Versace pants that actually fit me, but they were still over $100 on clearance in the ’90s,” she recalls. “I remember thinking, ‘I need to learn how to make pants.’” That moment set her on a path toward fashion design, where she would later create a brand known for its perfect balance of structure and comfort.
The Power of Custom Fashion

The transition from ready-to-wear to custom design came at a pivotal moment. “Coming out of COVID, I realized people were craving a more personal, high-touch experience,” Sarah explains. Rather than blending into the fast-paced, mass-market fashion industry, she pivoted toward bespoke clothing, allowing clients to have a hand in designing pieces tailored to their body, lifestyle, and personality. “It’s a game-changer when a client puts on a jacket and says, ‘I’ve never had sleeves that actually fit me before.’”
Her approach starts with understanding how clients want to feel in different environments. “Whether it’s a charity luncheon, a date night, or a business presentation, your clothing should align with how you want to be perceived,” she says. Her designs emphasize modern elegance with a touch of individuality, offering customizable elements like sleeve lengths, necklines, and hem details.
Exclusive Trunk Show in Arizona

Sarah is set to showcase her latest designs at exclusive trunk shows in Arizona on March 11th , from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Wasted Grain Scottsdale in Scottsdale, , and on March 14th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Cook Residence, 7000 E Ventana Canyon Dr in Tucson. Both events promise a unique experience for fashion enthusiasts to engage directly with Sarah’s collection while enjoying Champagne & Shopping. Attendees will have the chance to explore exclusive, hand-selected designs, consult with Sarah for personalized style advice, and shop unique pieces tailored to their individual preferences. Sarah works closely with clients to understand their needs, taking into account fabric choices, design lines, and specific tailoring to match their body type and lifestyle. This ensures each garment is stylish, functional, and perfectly suited to the wearer.
“This is more than just a shopping experience,” Sarah emphasizes. “It’s an opportunity to be part of the creative process. We’ll be taking measurements on-site, offering style consultations, and helping clients build wardrobes that reflect their unique style.”
In addition to custom orders, the trunk show will feature one-of-a-kind pieces available in select sizes. “We’re bringing limited edition fabrics and accessories, so if you see something you love, claim it before it’s gone!” she adds.

Sarah’s visit to Arizona is also deeply personal—her mother now resides in Tucson, and the growing demand for her bespoke designs in the region has made this the perfect time to bring her collection to a new audience. She also recognizes Arizona’s unique fashion needs, where breathable fabrics, layering, and versatility are key to achieving effortless elegance in the desert climate. “Popular demand is bringing me to Arizona,” she laughs. “My mom and her friends kept asking when I was coming, so we made it happen.”
The Future of Fashion: Identity and Confidence

For Sarah, fashion is about more than aesthetics—it’s about empowerment. She believes that what we wear plays a key role in personal branding, influencing how we are perceived before we even speak. “Clothing is a tool that helps you command a room before you even speak,” she says. “When you look and feel great, people take notice. That’s why I’m passionate about helping people create a wardrobe that reflects who they truly are.”
As she prepares to introduce Arizona to her collection, Sarah invites fashion lovers to step into a world where personal style and perfect fit go hand in hand. “Come see what we’re about,” she encourages. “It’s not about blending in—it’s about finding what makes you feel incredible.”
